Despite the recent rumors linking her to The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart, Selena Gomez says the man for her still seems to be nonexistent.
In a TikTok video posted on March 15, Gomez joked that while some girls complain about being ignored by their crushes, at least they have a guy to crush on. Gomez can’t even find that. “I hate it when girls are like, ‘Oh my gosh, my crush doesn’t even know that I exist!’” the Only Murders in the Building star said. “Like, girl, my crush doesn’t even exist.” Gomez captioned the post, “Still out here lookin for him lol.”
Aside from one short-lived relationship with The Weeknd and even briefer flings with the likes of Charlie Puth and Zedd, per Parade, Gomez’s last known serious relationship was with Justin Bieber. And we all know how that ended. Despite embracing her single status in interviews (she told The Wall Street Journal in 2020, “I need time by myself. I love going to my room at the end of the day. Just me and my dog”), she frequently pokes fun at herself and her thus far fruitless search for love—on TikTok.
“No, I’m fine. I’m totally fine being single,” she joked in a 2022 video before panning the camera to show her coupled-up friends being cozy on the couch. In a video posted in February, she lip-synced audio, “Guys I figured out the reason why I’m single. Apparently you have to go outside and meet people.”I’m no matchmaker or anything, but I have faith that the man for Selena Gomez is out there somewhere. So fellas, there’s still a chance.
